Spring snares are a great way to catch small game and are significantly more effective than just a snare. If you are using rope or natural cordage, with a typical snare the animal can chew through it. With a spring snare, ideally, you will pull them up by there necks and make it far more difficult for them to chew through. There are several ways of adding spring or dead fall to your snare. In a previous video I demonstrated the T-Bar Spring Snare. That snare was effective for luring small animals to your snare and it requires bait. This version of the spring snare allows you to bring the snare to the animals. This is perfect for if you find den or game trail.
