Lashing a tripod with Wraps & Fraps in the wild is a basic bushcraft skill every survivalist should have in their toolbox. They can be used for your bush craft camp, emergency shelter, bushcraft furniture and more.
Bushcraft Basics: Lashing a Tripod
-Start with a clove hitch on the first pole
-Wrap your cordage around the three poles in an over under pattern for a total of 5 wraps
-Now wrap your cordage between the poles 2 times, this is called a \"Frap\"
-Finally, finish with another clove hitch to tie off the remainder cordage
Some uses of a tripod include pot hanger, bushcraft chairs, bushcraft table, bushcraft raised bed. Teepee shelter, supporting ridge poles for lean-to, drying rack and much more.
