Having clean water is essential to survive any disaster. This simple survival hack is an easy and efficient way to filter your water. All it requires is a strip of cloth. A rag, a paper towel, strip from your shirt or even your sock will work. Place your dirty water in a container and slightly elevated. Place and empty container below it. Now run your strip of fabric between the container with the dirty water in it and your empty container. The water will get absorbed in the cloth and flow up and into the other container leaving behind all the dirt in the first container.
